Harvesting of edible green beans starts in 45-50 days after sowing.
Cowpea are dark green in colour, soft, pulpy and free from skin.
The Cowpea are longer (on an average up to 35-40 cm) and attractive as compared to other dwarf varieties.
Its yield is up to 190-200 quintals per hectare which is more than other popular varieties.
The variety is resistant to golden yellow virus and leaf spot disease.
